My files (saved designs)

Q: I can’t see the design I made yesterday.

You may have used Save (which downloads to your computer) instead of Save to server. Look for the .bordado in your downloads folder and open it in the editor with Open.

The designs you save with Save to server go to My files, ready to keep editing from any computer.

In the dashboard

In the menu, click My files. The most recent appear first, with thumbnail, date and size.
Use Search files… to find one by name.
Open takes the file to the editor; Download saves the .bordado to your computer; Rename changes the name; Delete removes it (this can’t be undone).

In the editor

The My files button opens the same list inside the editor, with the storage bar.
When you open a file, the current design leaves the screen. Save it first if you want to keep it.
After opening, Save to server saves over the same file. For a copy, use Save as new….

Link a file to an order

In the order, choose the design under Embroidery file. Then the Open in editor → link goes straight to the file. See Orders.

Common problems

It says "This file is no longer on the server".

The file was deleted (maybe in another tab or computer). Refresh the list.
